Session Information
Description: Contributors and editors of an upcoming issue of Legacy, focusing primarily on long-nineteenth-century women-authored texts, rework our understanding of the intellectual tradition of queer thought in American literature to better include women’s literature, accounting for its underrecognized influence on sexually progressive thought. Authors discussed include Dunbar-Nelson, Freeman, Harper, and Wilhelm.
