Session Information

Description: Participants examine racial embodiment as it intersects with other forms of embodiment, including age and gender, in seventeenth-century literature and culture. Topics include race thinking in drama, poetry, recipe culture, medical discourse, and twenty-first century adaptations of seventeenth-century figures.
