Session Information

Description: This session focuses on a crucial but often overlooked part of the ecosystem of higher education: the university press. Panelists who work at UPs, professors who edit book series at UPs, and scholars of the history of UPs look at the place of UPs in higher education, the contributions they make to intellectual and social life on and beyond campus, and the internal and external pressures they face in order to do so.
