Session Information

Description: Recognizing that decolonization is more than a metaphor, panelists consider what is required to decolonize the English major, from a range of perspectives and scholarly approaches. With a focus on disciplinary and departmental practice, the participants discuss what it means, what it might take, and how we might begin individually and collectively as scholars and teachers and students to begin the decolonization of English literary studies.
