Session Information
Description: Participants will divide into groups, and each group will be assigned a different scenario based on the facilitators’ firsthand experiences with arts education programs in jails and prisons. Scenarios cover both pedagogical and practical topics. Since the concerns for instructors of justice-involved students are often heightened versions of those experienced in other classrooms, this session is open to anyone interested in discussing humanities pedagogy.
