Session Information
Description: This session focuses on the myriad connections between multilingual and often peripatetic German writers with literary, religious, and historical works originating elsewhere in Europe and the engagement of German writers with ancient, medieval, and Renaissance sources that informed German writing. Presenters uncover moments of intercultural literary and intellectual exchange among the German lands, Europe, and the world.
