274. Transnational Queer Studies: New Directions

12:00 PM–1:15 PM Jan 10, 2020 (US - Pacific)

Sheraton - Issaquah

Session Information

Description: Scholars in comparative literature, Asian American studies, women’s and gender studies, African studies, francophone studies, and Taiwan studies explore the intersection where transnationalism meets queer studies. Taking inspiration from recent turns to the transpacific and what Lisa Lowe terms “the intimacies of Four Continents,” panelists aim to multiply our existing frames of reference for queer theory.
