Session Information

Description: Focusing on conceptions of the public humanities, this roundtable fosters discussion of regional MLAs and their communities. Members of the Midwest, Pacific, and South Atlantic Modern Language Associations will address this issue, sharing ways in which they might work to narrow the public/academic divide. Participants will offer brief discussion prompts in order to allow sufficient time for conversation with the audience about possible interventions.
