Description: This session highlights the generative possibilities of using a health humanities lens to discuss issues such as healing, cure, and states of health, (un)health, and death caused by racialized health inequities. In turn, these scholars use the tools of critical disability studies to consider how ableism and racism interact to stigmatize people of color seeking access to healing.
