Description: Postcritique calls not only for the end of critique but also for the end of theory—all in the name of reviving the humanities. But is postcritique the best way to respond to the disenchantment of humanities scholars regarding their position within the neoliberal academy? Is the best way to revive the humanities to throw critique out of the academy and in its place embrace practices that support the growth of neoliberalism?
