Session Information

Description: Few things challenge existing ideologies about what it means to “be human” like disability. Bringing linguistic and literary frames to bear, panelists engage with the presidential theme through a variety of theoretical and methodological frameworks, unmooring disability from its pathological and reductive treatment in language and literary scholarship, calling on scholars and practitioners to see it in expanded and new ways.
