Session Information

Description: Given that the popular resurgence of confederate idealization and romanticization oriented by struggles over confederate monuments deeply involves nineteenth-century United States literary cultures, this roundtable pulls together experts who specialize in the postbellum period of United States history, African American literatures, and the literatures of the southern United States (including the Southwest).
