677. The Doctoral Internship: Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why?

8:30 AM–9:45 AM Jan 12, 2020 (US - Pacific)

WSCC - Skagit 2

Session Information

Description: Off-campus internships can help doctoral students in the humanities collaborate with community partners, communicate their expertise to public audiences, and build professional skills and networks. But few organizations advertise “PhD Students Apply Within”—and most campus internship placement services focus on undergraduates. This hands-on workshop offers a how-to (and why-to) for finding—and making the most of—meaningful, manageable, short-term work.
