Laura Forsberg is an assistant professor of English at Rockhurst University, where she teaching nineteenth-century British literature and culture, adolescent literature, material culture, magical realism and composition. Her book, Worlds Beyond: Miniatures and Victorian Fiction, for which she received support from a year-long NEH fellowship at the Huntington Library, is forthcoming from Yale University Press. She has previously published articles on Victorian literature, book history, and history of science in such forums as Victorian Studies and SEL: Studies in English Literature 1600-1900.
