Description: Contemporary poets talk about the poetry and poetics of Wallace Stevens, addressing how they encounter and read Stevens’s work, considering Stevens’s significance and legacy, and discussing particular poems. The poets may also consider Stevens’s relevance (or comparative lack of relevance) to their own poetry.
