Description: How do we decolonize Spanish language education in the United States academy? Studying examples of curricular reform that integrate social justice themes and critical language pedagogies to enhance student engagement, participants critically examine pedagogical artifacts (syllabi, textbooks, etc.) and discuss strategies that make language education more inclusive and promote linguistic diversity in the United States.
