Lisa Dolasinski is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Italian at Dickinson College. She holds a PhD in Italian Studies and a minor in Gender Studies from Indiana University. Lisa works primarily on contemporary Italian cinema, literature, and culture. She is particularly interested in the topics of migration, aging, and masculinity. Her refereed journal articles interrogate the fluid sexual and racial identities of migrant protagonists onscreen. In addition to preparing her first monograph for publication, tentatively titled Screening “Sterile Masculinity”: On Male Migrants, Italian Men, and the Future of Italy, she is currently working on a project that investigates representations of aging in Italian films.
